Claudine Janice Patton

Claudine Janice Patton, 88, of Moline,IL passed away on September 25, 2025 at her son and daughter-in-laws home surrounded by her family.She was born to Theodore and Lavina (Soli) Gadaire on March 26, 1937 at the home of her grandmother in Vang, North Dakota.

Claudine worked at Moline Public Hospital in the sewing room for several years. She was a devoted Girl Scout Leader. Claudine was a member of several square dancing clubs. She loved bowling, swimming, bicycling, sewing and crocheting. She made the best apple pie and Whiskey slush.

Claudine is survived by Michael (Linda) Patton, son; Tyler Patton, grandson; Joshua(Amy) Terronez, step-grandson; Aaron(Casey) Terronez, step grandson; Isabella and Isaac Terronez, great grandchildren; Betty Lou Barnes, sister; Annette Stanley, niece; and Paul Letterman, nephew. 

She is preceded in death by husband, Ellis Patton, daughter, Carrie Kennedy and niece, Yvonne Serrano.

Services will be held at Elim Covenant Church Thursday , October 23, 2025 with a visitation 1 hour before a 11:00 AM service. A celebration luncheon will be held after the services at the Viking Club of Moline.
