Dona Cross

Dona Cross 81, of Peoria Illinois, died on July 11, 2025 at Lacon Rehab and Nursing in Lacon Illinois. She was born on July 3, 1944 in Detroit Michigan to the late Delbert and Violet (Zasada) Tebelman. Dona was a parts manual author for Caterpillar for over 10 years, where she developed and coordinated the creation of parts manuals for Caterpillar equipment.

Dona is survived by her brother Delbert (Barb) Tebelman of East Peoria Illinois.

Dona was a dog person, providing the best care to her dogs Chauncey, Kirby, Ace, and Bella. She enjoyed ceramics and creating flower arrangements. Playing cards with family was something she loved very much. With her quick-witted, fun personality, she always kept the games lively. She was a great friend with a loving heart.

Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services at this time. Memorial contributions in Dona’s name can be made to the Center for Prevention of Abuse in Peoria. Cards can be sent from and condolences left at illinicremation.com
