Donna Lou Hewitt, 90, Normal passed away March 23, 2026 at Snyder Village. She was born on October 6, 1935 to George and Iva (Overmeyer) Campbell in Peoria, IL. She married James Harold Hewitt. He precedes her in death.
Donna is survived by her sister, Phyllis Emons; children, Colette (Gary) Hinson, Brent (Debbie) Hewitt, Bruce Hewitt, and Curt Hewitt; grandchildren, Jeremy (Sara) Hewitt, Brandon (Courtney) Hinson, Katie (Justin) Sangalli, Taylor Hinson, and Amy (Nick) Pitzen and 8 great grandchildren.
She was a librarian and an avid reader that enjoyed time on the sundeck. Donna loved traveling and spending winters in Florida.
Donna will be rejoined with her husband, James, to be spread on New Smyrna, Florida beach.
