George James Young

George James Young, 74, of East Peoria passed away August 17, 2026 at Carle Health Medical Center in Peoria, IL. He was born December 28, 1951 in Peoria, IL to Ernest and Evelyn (Glore) Young. George married Brenda Fox on August 02, 1991 in Peoria, IL. She survives George.

He enjoyed the following outdoor activities: golfing, fishing, camping, boating, and riding his motorcycle. He loved spending time with his family most of all.

George is survived by his loving wife, Brenda; his children, Neil Young of Granville, Illinois; Jaqueline St. Clair of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Stephen Young of Lacon, Illinois; Lindsay Fowler of Timnath, Colorado; and Cody Young of East Peoria Illinois; his grandchildren, Micah Schiner, Caitlyn Schiner, Seth Schiner, Chloe Schiner, Taylor Young, Dylan Shields, Aidan Vancil, Grayson Garafalo, Annie Fowler, Ella Fowler, Amelia Fowler, Beau Fowler, Kelsey Adams, Brayson Young, and Cash Sears; and great grandchild, Jeremiah Pennington; his siblings, Gerald Young, Audrey Strube, Joseph Young and Marcie Kellenberger . He was one of 17 Children . He was preceded by his siblings Ernest Young, Mary Hinez, Shirley Ludolph, Theresa Young, Andrew Young, Martin Young , Edward Young, Charles Young, Sharon Hatcher, Althea Rushing, Gabriel Langloss, and Christine Johnson
