Glenn Edward Summerville, 72, of Peoria, Illinois, died on June 13, 2026 in Peoria. He was born on May 18, 1954 in Peoria, Illinois to the late Rufus Sr. and Mercedes (Jones) Summerville.
He is survived by his only child, Pearis Carr of Thailand, brother Clyde Summerville, brother Jeffrey (Atasa) Summerville of Peoria, IL., sister Elaine Gordon of Oklahoma City, OK., sister Constance Summerville of Waxahachie, TX, sister Lynnette (Howard) Fields of St. Louis, MO and sister Lisa (Lester) Hampton of Normal, IL. He also has nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews who will miss him dearly.
Glenn was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael, Rufus Jr., and Larry. Along with his parents, Rufus Sr. and Mercedes Summerville.
He retired from Central Illinois Light Company/Ameren after over 30 years of service.
