Kenneth Rudolph Hayes, Jr., 75, of Peoria passed away on October 10, 2026 in Peoria, IL. He was born on July 23, 1951 in Peoria, IL to Kenneth and Lora (Van Dettum) Hayes, Sr.
Ken loved watching movies and reading the bible. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He valued family as family was everything to him. He was a caring big brother and uncle. Those that knew him said he was always waving to say hello.
He is survived by his sister, Mary (Dave) Taylor of Crossville, TN; niece, Amanda (Matt) Fowler of Washington, IL and three great nieces.
Ken is preceded in death by his Mother Lora and Father Kenneth and nephew, Jacob Taylor.
