Linda Ann Gregar

Linda Ann Gregar (née Tomaszewski), age 69, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2026.

Linda was the beloved wife of Daniel Gregar, Sr.; loving mother of Daniel Gregar, Jr. (Elizabeth) and Anthony James (AJ) Gregar (fiancée Junnette); and cherished Nani of Hayley, Mia, Cameron, Isabella, Savannah, Terra, and AJ Gregar. She was the daughter of the late Bruno and Dorothy Tomaszewski; dear sister of the late Dennis (Chris) Tomaszewski, Tracey (Eddie) Simich, and Jim (Kathy) Tomaszewski; and a loving sister-in-law, cousin, aunt, and friend to many.

Linda spent many years as an early childhood educator, caring for children as though they were her own. She had a heart of gold, a bright personality, and a smile that could light up any room. Always putting others before herself, Linda found joy in helping those around her. She loved to talk, share stories, and make people laugh.

Above all, Linda treasured her family. She was devoted to her sons and was always there to help them. She was a proud grandmother who never missed an opportunity to celebrate her grandchildren's special moments. As a sister, she was fun-loving, silly, caring, and always someone her siblings could count on to bring a smile to their faces.

Linda will be remembered for her generous heart, lively spirit, and the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral Services for Linda Ann Gregar are Saturday, November 21, 2026. Family and friends will gather at 12:45 pm at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, Illinois for a 1:00 pm graveside service. Please meet at the cemetery entrance in the B staging area, near the office.
