Matthew Charles Burke,33, of Chillicothe, IL passed away on January 24, 2025.  He was born on March 21, 1991 to Walter and Melinda (Essary) Burke in Peoria, IL.

He worked at McDonald's in Chillicothe. He was a goofball! He liked video games. He enjoyed going to the mud bogs! He was the life of a party! He loved all his nephews and nieces. 

Matthew is survived by Kayla Nelson(sister), Pierre Nelson(brother in law),Tyler Esquivel(brother), Jerry Essary(Grandpa), Dennise Essary(Grandma), Anita DeNolf(Aunt) Lewis Hunt,(Uncle) Eldon Essary(Uncle), Omar Esquivel(StepDad), Kim Crowell(Girlfriend), Berkeley Charles Burke(Son), Aydyn Nelson(Nephew), Shawn Nelson(nephew), Karone Nelson(niece), Melinda Nelson(niece), Jessa Baum(niece), Isaiah Baum(nephew), Charlotte Wainwright(niece), Iris Wainwright(niece), Chaz Baum(Best Friend), many cousins and lots of friends.

He was preceded in death by Melinda Essary(Mother), Asher Baum(nephew), Joyce Essary(Grandma), Audrey Lewis(Grandma), and John Lewis(Grandpa)
