Mr. Harry M. Tompkins

Harry M. Tompkins, 83, of Mapleton, IL passed away on March 23, 2025 at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Peoria, IL. He was born to Harry and Juanita (Manuel) Tompkins on August 12, 1941 in Canton, IL.  Harry married Darlene on September 29, 2001 in Groveland, IL. 

Harry served in the United States Army and served as a Peoria County Deputy Sheriff until retirement.  
He   loved sitting on his front porch visiting with neighbors.  

He is survived by his wife, Darlene of Mapleton, IL;  A daughter Tina Francis of Peoria, IL; Two stepsons Jason & Joellen Bitner of Farmington, IL and Justin & Angela Bitner of Wisconsin. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Sharon Richards, and two brothers Ronald Tompkins and Francis Tompkins and his stepson Shawn Pringle.
