Tadd C. Kingen

Tadd Christopher Kingen, 55, of Lacon Illinois, died on August 6, 2025 at his home. Born in Peoria Illinois to the late Frank and Ethel (Davis) Kingen, he married Roberta Jean Craig on February 3, 1997 in Lacon. She survives.

also surviving is his children Travis Kingen of Lacon, Audrina Lynn Kingen of California; brother Brian (Amber) Kingen of Sparland; sister Julie (Jason) Scherer of Sparland; and many nieces & nephews.

Tadd was locally known as our pizza delivery guy. He started with the Pizza Peel in downtown Lacon, later transferring to Casey’s General store to deliver their pizzas to the community. He enjoyed crafting wooden Plaques with mushrooms and making canes in his spare time. Tadd loved listening to old country music and watching horror movies. The interior of his home was beautifully decorated by him for his wife in a Halloween theme.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cards can be sent from and condolences left at illinicremation.com.
